bfinance lands in Dutch market

The Netherlands has launched onto bfinance's radar with the company's latest appointment to its Northern Europe team.

The independent specialist financial services consulting firm has appointed Frans Verhaar to director of business development for the Netherlands market. He will lead bfinance's manager search and selection activities in this country.
Verhaar will report to Richard Tyszkiewicz, senior director of business development and leader of the Northern Europe investment consulting team.

"Frans has extensive firsthand experience of working closely with major investors across Europe and North America on manager searches in mainstream and alternative asset classes," said Tyszkiewicz. "This knowledge will be of great value to institutions in the Netherlands."

Previous to this post, Verhaar was a senior associate at bfinance's London-based research and development team, and has also worked in The Hague for ING Investment Management, and ING Insurance as a corporate treasurer.
