Winners announced at inaugural Irish Pensions Awards

This week saw the much anticipated announcement of the winners of the inaugural Irish Pensions Awards, run by European Pensions magazine.

More than 300 Irish pensions industry professionals gathered at the prestigious event, which took place at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin, to see Irish comedian Dermot Whelan present trophies to pension funds, consultants, investment managers and industry providers who had proved themselves worthy of a coveted prize.

The Awards, launched earlier this year, were set up to give recognition to those pension funds and providers who have proved their excellence, professionalism and dedication to maintaining high standards of Irish pension provision. A panel of 10 independent judges were given the tough job of deciding the winners in a rigourous and transparent process.

European Pensions would like to congratulate all the winners and thank everyone who supported the Awards by either sponsoring or attending the event.

A full list of the winners, including Irish Pensions Personality of the Year, is available at www.europeanpensions.net/irishawards
