News in brief w/c 12 September

The Pensions Board has named its online data management system as the Interactive Scheme Information System (ISIS). Trustees, employers and pension scheme administrators can electronically amend existing scheme details and pay annual scheme fees. New services to be introduced shortly include the registration of new single and group member schemes as well as the filing of annual scheme information returns.

BNY Mellon and Investor Analytics have launched their money market stress testing service in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. The new service builds on BNY Mellon’s strategic alliance with Investor Analytics and models the impact of interest rate shocks, credit risk shocks and liquidity risk shocks on the value of funds.

The Swiss Funds Association SFA have welcomed the following new members to its organisation: Primecoach GmbH, Lachen, Princeton Financial Systems, Zurich and VERIT Investment Management AG, Zurich.

Mirae Asset Global Investments Group has announced that its Mirae Asset China Sector Leader Equity Fund has been awarded an ‘A’ rating by Standard and Poor’s Fund Management Ratings (“S&P”). The fund invests in market-leading companies in China and Hong Kong and it has returned 33.6% (in EUR as of the end of July 2011).

State Street Corporation (NYSE:STT) has announced the expansion of its futures commission merchants (FCM) activities to include the launch of its swaps clearing platform, enhancing its comprehensive , end-to-end derivatives solution that includes servicing, custody and accounting, collateral management, valuation and risk and analytics.
