AllenbridgeEPIC Investment Advisers (AEIA) has been appointed by the London Borough of Hounslow as investment consultant to its pension fund. Senior adviser with AEIA and member of AEIA's Investment Panel, Karen Shackleton, will advise the fund. AEIA advises six Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) funds with total assets under management of over £6.3bn.

Mercer has been chosen by the Scottish Enterprise Pension and Life Assurance Scheme to act as investment consultant to its £380million defined benefit scheme. Scottish enterprise is the main economic, enterprise, innovation and investment agency for Scotland, which aims to stimulate sustainable growth in Scotland's economy.
Midland Independent Newspapers Pension Scheme has appointed JLT for investment and actuarial advice to its £150million pension scheme. JLT will provide investment consulting services to the scheme.

River and Mercantile Asset Management LLP (R&M) has won its first global equity mandate with its appointment to manage a segregated global equity mandate by Royal Liver Asset Managers.
