Louis Godron has succeeded Hervé Schricke as chairman of AFIC and the post will last for two years. Godron is chief executive officer of Argos Soditic France and has been active in private equity for more than 20 years. He has been a member of AFIC’s Board of Directors and its treasurer since June 2011 and chairman of its buyout committee since 2010.

Vanguard chief investment officer Gus Sauter has announced plans to retire after a 25 year career. This will take effect on 31 December. Sauter joined Vanguard in 1987 and currently directs Vanguard’s global investment management groups. Tim Buckley, managing director, will assume the role of chief investment officer upon Sauter’s retirement.
