Pioneer Investments has announced that it has appointed Michel van Mazijk as head of institutional business for the Netherlands and Nordics. He will be responsible for the ongoing development and promotion of solutions to meet clients’ regional requirements and will also lead the company's sales efforts. Van Mazijk joins from ING Investment Management where he was responsible for the development of the Dutch institutional market for ING’s fiduciary proposition. Prior to that, he was responsible for relationship management and business development of the institutional market in Northern Europe at Vanguard Investments Europe.
Renaissance Asset Managers (RAM) has appointed Barbara Rupf Bee as chief executive officer. Rupf Bee will lead RAM’s strategy in emerging and frontier markets overseeing 30 investment professionals. He previously worked at HSBC Global Asset Management where she was global head of institutional sales since November 2007 and also has the role of investment advisor to HSBC’s fund of hedge funds and institutional client portfolios.
AXA IM has appointed Laurent Seyer as global head of investment solutions and will commence his role from 2 May. Seyer’s role will be to effectively manage and develop the company’s LDI, fiduciary management and Solvency II solutions. Seyer started his career in 1988 at Societe Generale in the internal audit and advisory department.
bfinance has strengthened its team with the appointment of Michel Haski as head of EMEA institutional coverage. With more than 25 years experience of the asset management industry behind him, Haski will lead the company’s business development activities within Europe and the Middle East. He joins from Allianz Global Investors Europe where he held the roles of chief executive officer and co-head of sales.
