A total of €1.4bn has flowed into commodities during the first quarter of 2012, equating to 26 per cent of all ETP net asset inflows according to latest analysis published by Lyxor.

In addition, in terms of total assets under management, commodities represent over 18.5 per cent of the total ETP market. Q1 has seen significant inflows into energy related exposures.

Inflows into precious metals during Q1 2012 were recorded at 60.1 per cent with industrial metals at 12.4 per cent.
